The Monumento a la Revolución is a major Mexico City landmark and one of the most recognizable monuments connected with the Mexican Revolution. Its structure came from the unfinished Legislative Palace project from the Porfiriato, later transformed into a revolutionary monument.
The monument was redesigned by architect Carlos Obregón Santacilia and also functions as a mausoleum for important revolutionary figures. For exam-style study, it is useful to connect it with the Revolution, the unfinished legislative palace, and its role as a memorial space.
