Queso Relleno, which translates to ‘stuffed cheese’, is a traditional dish from the Yucatán Peninsula. It consists of a ball of Edam cheese hollowed out and stuffed with a mixture of pork, tomatoes, onions, olives, capers, raisins, and almonds, among other ingredients. It’s often served with a white sauce and tomato sauce.
